Rumour has it that Fifth Gear has been cancelled. Forever.
This news first appeared on the Daily Mail. They are known to be unreliable though, so this may not be true. Also, Fifth Gear presenter Jonny Smith has stated on his Twitter account that “nothing is official”. I interpret that as “It might be cancelled”. I personally prefer Top Gear, but Fifth Gear is a nice companion, Top Gear does the entertainment and Fifth Gear does the more serious stuff. I’ll be keeping an eye on the situation and make sure that any news on this makes it here.
