Autocar reports that Subaru’s Confidence in Motion Concept could be a preview of the next-generation Impreza.
The teaser picture appears to be a four-door sedan, just like the Impreza. Flared arches are highlighted as well, suggesting that this will be a performance car, such as the Impreza WRX.
With a new Impreza rumoured to be coming late next year, the timing makes sense as well. Moreover, the current car has been a sales flop, and replacing it as soon as possible would make financial sense.
The concept car will likely have a hybrid drivetrain, and it’s expected that it will carryover onto the production Impreza.
