Kia has posted a record third quarter profit in Q3 2010.
Their net income was 666.6 billion won ($593 million USD) compared to last year’s 402 billion won ($357.8 million USD), while their operating profit was 421 billion won ($374.7 million USD).
The record-setting quarter is due to a 24 percent rise in sales, almost certainly thanks to a lineup of great cars such as the Forte and Soul. Kia expects to have record earnings in the fourth quarter as well.
