McLaren revealed its ten-year business plan earlier today, in which it will be expanding its network of dealerships across the world.
Between 30 and 40 dealerships in 10 countries will be established by 2011, starting in the UK and Europe first.
They will establish main dealerships worldwide, likely in America, Hong Kong, Britain and the Middle East. Then they will branch out to emerging markets such as China. These dealerships will not necessarily be new buildings, but will carry the McLaren logo and be unique to the brand.
Production of their new MP4-12C will begin late next year, and sales will begin in Spring 2011. That’s a heck of a lot of dealerships for one car though. Perhaps more cars are in the pipeline?
