Rumours are going around saying that Mercedes may be working on a more affordable version of the SLS AMG.
It will reportedly share it’s platform with the SLS, and the engine will still be a V8, between 5.8L and 6.2L (The current SLS has a 6.2L V8) and with direct injection and cylinder shutoff technology. The car will be slightly smaller. It isn’t likely to come out for the next 5 years though, so if this is true, we won’t be hearing anything about it for a while.
