Introducing yet another member of the team

So there I was, browsing different topics on FinalGear when I come across this little topic in the Automotive Discussion section…

…It was an appeal to help out a website called The Blog of Cars. I clicked on the link the poster gave and found myself interested in what this blog had to offer. It had all sorts of car information. However, there was one thing I noticed that was missing. Motorsport. There isn’t any motorsport coverage. That is when I contacted Igor about doing the motorsport coverage for this site. He agreed that there was a lack of it, and soon I was on board.

My name is Conner Johnson, I am currently 16 years old and live in the small town of Covington, Georgia in the US. Pretty much the only thing we’re famous for is Dukes of Hazzard, which is pretty big. Anyway, despite being 16 I have no license. Simply because I’m too lazy to get my parents to take me to get it.

I love cars, even though I don’t necessarily understand the different components of them. I’m the sort of guy who likes a car to be as crazy as the manufacturer can make it. I also have a passion for motorsport of all kinds. If the racing is good, I’m going to watch! I’ve been following different motorsport series  on and off since I was little kid, and recently I’ve really been into it. My personal favorites are Formula 1, WRC, and American Le Mans Series.

I’ll try my best to update every racing weekend. This usually means I’ll do my blog posts on Mondays. They will be a wrap-up of the past weekend of motorsports action. The following is a list of series I will cover.

  • Formula 1
  • World Rally Championship
  • NASCAR Sprint Cup
  • MotoGP
  • V8 Supercars
  • American Le Mans Series
  • Le Mans Series
  • World Touring Car Championship
  • British Touring Car Championship
  • DTM
  • FIA GT1 and GT2

So that’s about it for my introduction. I shall see you guys next Monday for a recap of this weekend’s races!
