Toyota forced to shutdown Chinese plant due to striking workers

As if Toyota didn’t have enough problems, they have now had to shutdown a plant in China due to a worker’s strike.

The plant in question is Toyota’s largest manufacturing plant in China, and all three assembly lines have been shutdown. It started last Friday, with 40 of the 1,700 workers demanding pay rises. Negotiations are currently ongoing to try and get the factory working as soon as possible.
