Pictures and info on the 2012 Nissan GT-R (2011 for the JDM market) have been leaked.
The car will, by the looks of the pictures, receives various cosmetic updates, including the ever so popular LED daytime running lights. Work on the front bumper has reduced the car’s drag coefficient from 0.272 to 0.268, while a new rear diffuser allows for 10% more downforce.
Moreover, two new colours are seen on the pictures, with the blue officially (Albeit tentatively) called Aurora Flare Blue Pearl, while the black has been updated, and will be officially (But again tentatively) called Nebula Opal Black. According to GTRBlog, these are the only body colour changes for the car this model year.
The car also receives new wheels, each of which are 3 kg lighter than the previous ones and yet stiffer, resulting in improved steering response and feedback. They will be available in two new colours: Hyper Blue Black and Hyper Titanium.
Lastly, the base model will now be replaced with the identical Pure Edition, while the Premium Edition will remain. The new changes result in a price bump for both, with the Pure Edition priced at 80,000 yen (Around $950 USD) more than the previous model, while the new Premium Edition will set you back 210,000 yen (Around $2500 USD) more than the current one.
GTRBlog also mentions interior and engine bay changes, but says that this info will be revealed later.
