Yet more pictures of the next-generation Mercedes-Benz CLS has been leaked ahead of its debut, which will reportedly take place on Monday.
No new info has been leaked, but as a recap, the CLS350 CGI and the CLS550 CGI will make up the gasoline range, with the 350 being powered by a new 3.5L V6, developing 301 bhp and 272 lb-ft of torque. The 550 will receive a new 4.6L twin-turbo V8, putting out 429 bhp and 516 lb-ft of torque. The diesel range will be made up of the CLS350 CDI and CLS250 CDI. The 350 will use a 3.0L V6 developing 248 hp, while the 250 will use a four-cylinder engine producing 201 hp.
The AMG-tuned CLS63 AMG, however, will use Mercedes’ new 5.5L twin-turbo V8. In the CLS, it will put out 544 bhp and 590 lb-ft of torque. An optional Performance Pack will be offered as well, which will increase power output to 570 bhp and 663 lb-ft of torque.
We’ll be awaiting the debut on Monday. However, Mercedes might want to plug the leak in their company, because two leaks within 4 days is a bit too much.
