A report from Auto Express suggests that the Nissan Cube could be getting the axe in the UK soon.
The decision, if made, would be due to very poor sales. Nissan expected to move 2,000 units per year, but just 686 have been sold. For comparison, 1,617 units of the even quirkier Juke were sold in September alone. The company has even told dealers that they no longer have to stock a Cube demonstrator.
Nissan does say that the car is “still part of the current line-up”, but when asked about the car’s future, a spokeswoman said: “I can’t tell you what we’re going to be doing next year.”
