Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone was beaten and robbed for £200,000 worth of jewelery outside his business HQ on Wednesday night.
His girlfriend Fabiana Flosi was with him at the time, and watched on in horror as four robbers violently attacked Ecclestone. They were both ordered to surrender any jewelery on them, including diamond rings and a watch. Ecclestone ended in the hospital to be treated for minor head injuries, but was back at work just a few hours later.
The police have not made any arrests, but suspect that this has to do with a string of recent robberies of the rich and famous.
This isn’t the first time Ecclestone has gone through such a situation. He was mugged four years ago, just after parking his Mercedes-Benz CLS55 AMG outside his home. Two of the car’s wheels were removed during the mugging.
