General Motors will reportedly be dropping the Goodwrench mechanic brand in the US to redirect their marketing focus on the four core vehicle brands.
Goodwrench has been used since 1974 to promote vehicle repair and maintenance service. It was to assure customers that their cars would be serviced and repaired by trained technicians using GM-made parts.
The brand will be replaced by Chevrolet Certified Service, Cadillac Certified Service, Buick Certified Service and GMC Certified Service. However, Goodwrench will remain alive in Canada.
