A JDM-exclusive tS variant of the Subaru Impreza WRX STI has been teased on the Japanese STI website.
While there is some text, it’s all in Japanese, and because it’s in an image, an online translator won’t cut it. Moreover, switching the website to English makes the teaser disappear altogether. So unfortunately, we don’t know very much.
What we do know is that the tS nameplate stands for “Tuned by STI”. It is used on high-performance variants of Subarus, tuned by the STI division and usually exclusive to the JDM market. So this should be taking the already quick WRX STI, and making it even better. The only change we can be sure of is a carbon fibre roof, as it is pictured in one of the teasers and mentioned on the website. Otherwise, we know pretty much nothing. We’ll be eagerly awaiting more info.
