Renault Samsung takes the wraps off SM7 concept at the Seoul Motor Show

Renault Samsung has taken the wraps off the SM7 concept sedan at the Seoul Motor Show.

While the car you see here is a concept, it is designed to foreshadow a production SM7. Except some of the LEDs to be toned down for production, and those rims likely won’t make it to production either.

Currently, no details are available on what’s underneath the body. However, reports suggest that the car is based on the Nissan Maxima/Teana platform, and it could carry over the 2.5L and 3.5L V6 engines from those cars.

More details will be revealed closer to the production model’s launch date. We’ll be on the lookout.
