Patent images for a production version of the BMW Concept Gran Coupe have been leaked.

The patent drawings show a car which appears nearly identical to the concept car, with certain design cues suggesting that it could be based on and badged as a 6 Series of some sort, with 6 Series GT being one of the names thrown around.

The car is expected to be equipped with the same drivetrain options as the 6 Series, a mix of six- and eight-cylinder engines mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, or in certain markets, a six-speed manual.
