Pictures and details on the Mercedes F125! concept car have been leaked ahead of its debut in Frankfurt.
The car is said to predict what the CL-Class could look like in 2025, which if you ask me, doesn’t bode very well for the future of Mercedes, or our eyes. But underneath the questionable looks, you’ll find a typical eco-friendly concept car drivetrain: a hydrogen fuel cell and motor developing 231 horsepower, allowing the F125! to get from a standstill to 100 kph (62 mph) in 4.9 seconds, up to a top speed of 220 kph (137 mph). A full tank of hydrogen is said to provide a range of 1,000 km, or 621 miles. However, the lithium-ion battery onboard can travel 50 km (31 miles) without activating the hydrogen fuel cell.
Official details will likely come in the next few days as the Frankfurt Motor Show kicks off. Until then, have a look at the F125! in the gallery below.
