Yet another trim level released today, this time for the Volkswagen Passat. It’s called the Highline Plus, and it’s based around the Passat Highline.
On the outside, I can’t spot any changes. The source indicates that the chrome grille surround can be used to identify it, but I’m pretty sure that it’s available on other models as well. On the inside, there’s now Bluetooth connectivity and Volkswagen’s new RNS sat-nav system, with a five-inch colour screen. The system will be available as an option on other Passat trims soon, priced at £795 (About 1300 USD). It will be available with most Passat engines, from the 1.8 TSI 160 to the 2.0 TSI 170, with or without Bluemotion. Prices start at £20515 (About 34000 USD) for the 2.0L TDI.
