Originally set to go on sale in November of this year, the Fisker Karma’s launch has been pushed back until the third quarter of 2010.
The car is a plug-in hybrid sedan, promising quite a few impressive figures: 100mpg, 408hp and a whopping 959lb-ft of torque. It looks quite good as well.
No need to whine about this delay though. The car began development in later 2007, and going from concept to production in roughly 3 years with a plug-in hybrid is a very impressive feat, especially for a small company such as Fisker.
The company has appointed 42 US retailers, and has 3 European distributors, so getting your hands on one, providing you have the money, shouldn’t be too hard. Speaking of money, the car is planned to start at 87,900 USD.
