The upcoming Peugeot 508, a car set to replace both the 407 and 607, has been spied during winter testing. Its heavily camouflaged body could be the first one to take its inspiration from the SR1 concept car.
While details are almost non-existent, predictions have been made. The 508 will use a Citroen C5 chassis and might get hydropneumatic suspension. A hybrid drivetrain is also a possibility as Peugeot are developing one for the 3008 hybrid.
The Peugeot 508 might debut at this year’s Paris Motor Show with a production model expected to follow next year at Geneva.
