Autoblog is reporting that the successor to the Crown Victoria Police Interceptor will be revealed this Friday in Las Vegas.
There aren’t any details on the car, we just know that Ford will be revealing the car to a select group of people this Friday in Fabulous Las Vegas. Autoblog speculates that it won’t be based on the Crown Vic, as Ford has stated they will stop production of it by 2011. They believe that it will be based on either the Taurus or Falcon.
Our own Antonio Cuellar recently wrote about the Crown Vic, discussing how tough of a car it was and all, so this new car has definitely got a lot to live up to, especially since GM is giving Ford some heavy competition in the form of the new Chevrolet Caprice Police Patrol Vehicle. We’ll have to wait and see to know for sure.
