Alpina has announced that they will be releasing a new race car, the B6 GT1.

Apparently, there is still a demand for GT1 racing cars, as Alpina has decided to prepare a GT1 car in addition to their B6 GT3 car. The development will be done independently by Aurora Racing Designs, though it is said to carry over some parts from the GT3 version.

Seems like the right direction for me, the B6 always seemed to big for GT3 and another GT1 entry is never a bad thing.
