Kia launches electric Pop concept car

Kia have unveiled their zero emissions Pop concept car ahead of its official debut at the Paris Motor Show.

Taking design inspiration from the Ray coupe concept, which was seen at the New York motor show, the Pop features a panoramic glass roof, a purple and silver interior, LED lights and a rear mounted charging station for the electric motor.

At three metres longs current smallest car, the Picanto. The Pop is a three seater with a bench in the front and a single seat in the rear. (slightly longer than Toyota’s IQ), the Pop is half a metre shorter than Kia’

It is also thought that the Pop will have gullwing-style doors due to the position of the door handles.

Kia say the car will bring “innovative design chic and dramatic styling to the city car segment”. More details will be announced at the Paris Motor Show.
