Autocar reports that the Pagani Zonda successor, the C9, will be receiving US homologation.
The Zonda was never made available in the US because it didn’t meet EPA and DOT standards. However, the twin-turbo 6.0-litre V12 engine and automated manual gearbox in the C9 will be designed to comply with 2013 California emissions regulations, as well as Euro-5 emissions standards.
The C9 is expected to be launched at next year’s Geneva Motor Show. We’ll be looking forward to that.
