BMW creates Z4 Silver Top Edition for Japan

BMW has created a limited edition of the Z4 for Japan, dubbed the Z4 Silver Top Edition.

As the name would suggest, this car gets a Titanium Silver hardtop. The mirrors are painted in that colour as well. That’s it. They haven’t even bothered with some special edition badges or something.

To make matters worse, it’s based off the Z4 sDrive23i, with a rather weak 201 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque. It’s connected to a six-speed slushbox too.

The price for all this? 5,590,000 yen, or about $68,355 USD. Far too much if you ask me. If, however, you live in Japan and like it for some unfathomable reason, then you’ll have to wait until April 2012 for it to go on sale.
