When Porsche rolled out the latest iteration of the 911, we only received two variants – the Carrera and Carrera S. But later we got a convertible, and then all-wheel-drive versions. And so the gradual roll-out of the whole lineup continues, with a teaser video of the latest version of the 911 GT3 Cup.

The teaser really doesn’t reveal all that much. We get glimpses of the race-modified body, and the paddle-shifter gearbox in use, but other than that, Porsche just leaves us with this line: “One very special Porsche 911. Not for the road. Only for the racetrack.” However, we should expect a road-going GT3 to follow not too long after, even if it doesn’t necessarily share much in common with the Cup.
