The Jeep Wrangler, Liberty (Known as the Cherokee outside of North America), Compass and Patriot have received new turbodiesel engines in the European market, as well as various other markets outside North America. Diesel power is new to the Wrangler, while the rest of the range simply gets their old units replaced. The new powertrains were displayed at the Paris Motor Show.
Where'd that Wrangler J7 go?
When Chrysler first unveiled their “Moparized” vehicles, not too many pictures came with the press release. However, we’ve found plenty more pictures on Jeep’s Facebook page. You can see them after the jump.
Chrysler has revealed nine “Moparized” concept vehicles at the Moab Easter Jeep Safari. The original announcement mentioned just four cars, and a fifth one was rumoured shortly after, but now we get nearly twice that.
Mopar will be unveiling at least four “Moparized” (Their word, not ours) vehicles at the upcoming Easter Jeep Safari.
