Lexus LFA will only be leased in the US

Lexus has announced an interesting sale strategy for their LFA: the car will only be leased.

It was thought at first that this strategy would be used everywhere, but Autocar later confirmed that it would only be used in the US.

The strategy is being used to prevent people from buying the car and storing it to later resell it, once it appreciates in value. The car will be leased for 2-year periods. The customer can still custom order absolutely every small details for the car though. At the end of the 2-year period, the customer can choose to purchase the car.
