Honda Recalls 2008-2010 Accord

Honda is recalling about 3,700 Accords due to an issue with an optional full nose mask, which can result in the hood latch not locking properly.

That, of course, means the hood may fly open while you’re driving along, and the result is a bit self-explanatory: You can’t see a damn thing.

Apparently, only one case was actually recorded in the real world, outside testing and such, but you shouldn’t take any risks. If you have the optional full nose mask for your 2008-2010 Accord, take it off as soon as possible and contact your Honda dealership to get an updated mask, which should fix the problem.
