Honda will reveal a new small car concept which is set to rival the Tata Nano at New Delhi’s Auto Expo in January 2010.

The car is referred to by Honda as the “New Small Concept”, and has been designed specifically for the Indian market and other “emerging nations”. That means that the new Japanese runabout will go head-to-head with the already mighty cheap Tata Nano. No one knows what to expect other than a small, cheap car.

Honda say that the concept was “Inspired by Dynamism – Truly Honda by Nature”. We’ll see if that’s true on the 5th of January in India. It is said that through this car, “Honda will express its tireless challenge for the development of advanced technologies and environmental technologies for the next generation.”
