A brochure for the upcoming Honda CR-Z has been leaked onto the internet. First impressions are quite good, it’s a good looking car in my opinion. The styling hasn’t changed much from the concept car, which is a good thing.
The brochure says the car will get a 1.5L four-cylinder gasoline engine, putting out 114hp and 107lb-ft of torque. The power is sent to the front wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox. Being a hybrid, it also has an electric motor, producing 14hp and 58lb-ft of torque. That power will propel the car from 0-100kph in 9.2 seconds, according to the brochure. The brochure mentions the numbers 58.8mpg and 52.9mpg in the brochure, but it’s unclear what these numbers refer to. The car is due to launch in Japan in February 2010, and will be later released in Europe, North America and Africa.
Besides this, a Mugen Honda CR-Z brochure has also been leaked. Details are sparse, but from the pictures, you can tell that the car has a new front bumper and splitter, new side skirts, a new rear bumper and new spoiler. There’s also a set of what appears to be 17-inch, seven-spoke wheels, presumably with new tires on them. The kit is expected to be available alongside the Honda CR-Z in Japan when the car is launched.
