Great news for car enthusiasts all over North America: the fabulous Audi RS5 has been confirmed for our market.

In the North American market, the RS5 will be sold with all optional extras standard. This includes the rear-axle sport differential, Dynamic Ride Control, and possibly the Boysen sport exhaust. Audi is doing this because they believe demand will be too low to justify optional extras over here.

Converting from the German pricing of a fully-equipped RS5, the car should cost $75,000 over here. However, don’t get your checkbooks out just yet. Audi says that North American deliveries will begin late August or early September – of 2011. Nonetheless, it should be worth the wait.
