Ferrari 599 Roadster was reportedly present at Pebble Beach

A Ferrari 599 Roadster was reportedly present at Pebble Beach, with an undisclosed source at Ferrari confirming the report.

According to the source, the car was shown to invited guests over a period of two days. Attendees had to turn their phones off, and hand them in to security along with cameras. 100 cars will be built, with 40-50 planned for the US, possibly less. It will make its way to the US during Q2 2011. Pricing will be higher than that of the GTO, but you will get the same engine as the GTO, and the bonus of a snap-on fabric top.

Everyone invited received a thank you letter such as the one below (Which was posted by a forum member on Luxury4Play, sparking the rumour of this roadster):

We’ll be on the look out for an official announcement.
