Cadillac recalling 2009-2010 CTS and CTS-V due to front passenger leg safety hazard

Cadillac will be recalling the 2009-2010 CTS and CTS-V due to non-compliance with FMVSS 208, which could result in an increased risk of leg injury for the front passenger.

To make the cars comply, dealers will replace the glove compartment, and in some vehicles, modify the instrument panel structure. The recall will begin on or before October 20th.

Around 20,000 cars are affected. If you own one of them, keep an eye out for a notification from GM.

Consequence:

Remedy:
