STaSIS Engineering releases details on tuned R8 Spyder, bringing three more tuned Audis to SEMA

STaSIS Engineering has released more details on their tuned R8 Spyder, set to make its debut at Audi’s first ever SEMA display this year. They’ve also announced that they will bring three more tuned Audis to SEMA for display at their own booth, including two premieres.

The STaSIS R8 V10 Spyder will pack a supercharged variant of the car’s 5.2L V10, churning out a massive 710 horsepower and 523 lb-ft of torque. The result is a 0-60 sprint of 3.1 seconds. STaSIS has also thrown in a “throaty exhaust”, as well as upgraded brakes, wheels and tires. A special one-off R8 V10 based on this package will be unveiled at SEMA as well.

STaSIS will also reveal tuning packages for the S5 Cabriolet and Q5 at SEMA. The S5 Cabrio is bumped up to 410 hp with the STaSIS tuning package. It also gets an uprated exhaust, high-performance suspension, and improved brake calipers.

The STaSIS Q5 will put out 310 hp, and have “heightened acceleration, handling, and braking power”, but not much more details are revealed.

The STaSIS-tuned Audi S4 will also make an appearance, although it is not a premiere and has been around for some time now. This gets an 80 hp power boost, a customer-tunable exhaust system, and improved brakes, wheels and tires.

Thanks to the company’s close ties to Audi, all these cars come with a 4-year/50,000-mile warranty when purchased and installed at a certified Audi dealership.

  1. I don’t really mind choosing between a two-door and a four-door, or a coupe and a sedan, as long as it’s from STaSIS. I have been a long time fan of the everyday exotic as well, and have been impressed by the S4 and S5. You got to love the S4 sedan front Bumper Cover as well. STaSIS indeed mixes performances with distinction extraordinarily well.
