Cadillac has released the first pictures of their CTS-V racing car, set to debut at the Detroit Auto Show on Monday.
The car will be competing in the Sports Car Club of America World Challenge series next season, with the first race in March in St. Petersburg, Florida. The drivers will be Johnny O’Connell and Andy Pilgrim.
I’d say it looks quite menacing, but I would have preferred another contender in the ALMS. However, GM probably didn’t want to have in-house competition.
This is all part of Cadillac’s effort to spice up their image, first the Nurburgring lap time of the regular car, and now this. We’re certainly not against the promotion of a great car like this though.
