After some changes to the rules of the Le Mans Series, reports indicate that the Nissan GT-R and Maserati MC12 will be entering the Le Mans Series next season.

They both comply to the new set of rules, and they’ve had considerable success in the FIA GT1 championship, so this is very well possible.

The plan would include an appearance at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It would be interesting to see what they could pull off at Le Mans, so I’d like to see this happen.
