To celebrate their 50th birthday, Mini made Coupe and Roadster concepts. Now, rumours are suggesting that these concepts will become production cars by 2011.

Sources suggest that engineering for the cars is well underway. The final model could hit production lines in Oxford by June with full production starting in August. If this is true, then the car will be in European showrooms no later than early 2011, with North America receiving it soon after.
