Alfa Romeo will be displaying three versions of the 159 replacement at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show alongside the new Giulietta, which will make its first live appearance at Geneva.
Each design house in Turin, Stile Bertone, Pininfarina and Italdesign Giugiaro, will be responsible for one of the three models. Bertone will do a two-door coupe, Pininfarina will do a convertible, and Italdesign will be responsible for the sedan. These design commissions will be part of Alfa Romeo’s centenary.
The 159 replacement is expected to use a classic Alfa Romeo name, but it is unknown which one. The replacement for the 166, supposedly called the 169, should follow shortly after this 159 replacement.
They’ll most likely get rid of the three lights per side styling they currently use, and that’s a shame, as it looks magnificent, while the new design they seem to be using is rubbish.
