Word on the street is that Porsche will be entering a hybrid in the 24 Hours of Nürburgring this May.
This move would make sense, since there are Porsche hybrids on the way, and Porsche likes to test their technology on the track. There’s also rumour that Porsche will use its knowledge from the race to enter a hybrid in the 2011 ALMS season, and maybe even in the 24 Hours of Le Mans that same year.
It is worrying me to see more and more hybrids appearing, but I guess it was inevitable. A hybrid in racing though sounds even worse though.
