A video of the new Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class has been leaked ahead of the car’s official debut.

The video mentions several new features for the car, including an “intelligent light system with adaptive light functions”, Distronic Plus with Pre-Safe braking (A collision avoidance system), sun-reflective leather and a seven-speed paddle-shifter gearbox available with all engines. Speaking of engines, a new range of direct-injection engines will be on offer, all available with Start/Stop. A Comand Online computer system with Internet access is also featured, and so is Magic Sky Control. Mercedes claims “high driving pleasure with leading efficiency”.

As far as styling goes, it takes on the appearance of a baby SL-Class, as opposed to the previous model’s SLR-inspired styling. You can have a look in the video below.
