Toyota launches FT-CH, a supposedly cheaper Prius
Toyota has launched its FT-CH Concept at the Detroit Auto Show, a hybrid car which is set to expand their current hybrid model range. You can call it a smaller, cheaper version of the Prius. It is also part of Toyota’s strategy to launch more plug-in hybrids and EVs. Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles will follow in 2015.

Lotus reveals Evora racer, announces racing series to go with it
Lotus has revealed a racing version of their Evora, called the Evora Cup. It is designed to race in the FIA GT4 class.
Production model of the Honda CR-Z debuts
The Honda CR-Z has been launched today at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The world premiere unveiling revealed a hybrid car which promises fun and sporty handling. The European version will debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March this year.
Three Jeep special editions launched
Jeep has launched three new special editions of their cars which are set to debut, as pretty much all of the stuff today, at the North American Motor Show in Detroit.
