Mercedes teases next CLS through sculpture

Strangely, the most important exhibit at the Mercedes-Benz stand at this year’s Detroit Motor Show wasn’t the new E-Class Cabriolet, or any other car in fact. It was this sculpture, which is said to present style hints of the next-gen CLS.

Toyota launches FT-CH, a supposedly cheaper Prius

Toyota has launched its FT-CH Concept at the Detroit Auto Show, a hybrid car which is set to expand their current hybrid model range. You can call it a smaller, cheaper version of the Prius. It is also part of Toyota’s strategy to launch more plug-in hybrids and EVs. Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles will follow in 2015.

Production model of the Honda CR-Z debuts

The Honda CR-Z has been launched today at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The world premiere unveiling revealed a hybrid car which promises fun and sporty handling. The European version will debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March this year.
