Editor’s note: Due to our blog’s closure, we were unable to post our coverage of the 24 Hours of Nürburgring in a timely manner. We wouldn’t want to put Christoph’s efforts to waste though, so here’s his report.
Better late then never, here are my impressions from this years 24 Hours race at the Nürburgring.
Chevrolet has updated the Corvette Z06 for the 2011 model year, and the first updated Z06 will honour the 50th anniversary of the Corvette’s first Le Mans win with a few special additions.
Italian coach builder Zagato has revealed the one-off Alfa Romeo TZ3 Corsa at the XII Villa D’Este Concours d’Elegance. Purpose built for a German collector, this is a car is more than a design exercise, Zagato claims.

Audi has just revealed their new Le Mans racer, the 2010 R15 TDI, also known as the ‘R15 plus’. Audi hopes this will be the machine to beat the Peugeots at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
