There’s just something about an understated car.
Editor’s note: Due to our blog’s closure, we were unable to post our coverage of the 24 Hours of Nürburgring in a timely manner. We wouldn’t want to put Christoph’s efforts to waste though, so here’s his report.
Better late then never, here are my impressions from this years 24 Hours race at the Nürburgring.
BMW’s lineup has become a bit weird recently with that 5-series GT and X6 things. Imposing as they are, there are simply created to fill a niche that doesn’t exist. However in Beijing, they decided to release something that’s much better and unbelievably more worthy of carrying the 5-series GT badge: the BMW Concept Gran Coupe
BMW will be revealing xDrive variants of the 5 Series Gran Turismo and 740d at the Beijing Motor Show.
BMW’s Classic Center has opened to service customer’s classic vehicles. Also, BMW Group Classic has set up their Motorsport division.
BMW will be creating a 17th Art Car and fielding it at the 24 Hours of Le Mans this year.
