On to the Worst Car of the Year. This has to excel in as many areas as possible…at annoying us and making everyone else sick. 2009’s pile of misery was reduced by us to just two cars. The winner however, is one of the most pointless and ugly cars we have ever seen. It is a car you would be totally ashamed to drive and you’d rather crash it before someone sees you in it. Production model of the Honda CR-Z debuts
The Honda CR-Z has been launched today at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The world premiere unveiling revealed a hybrid car which promises fun and sporty handling. The European version will debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March this year.
Cheap Car of the Year: Winner
Today it’s time to unveil our Cheap Car of the Year. As the title says, it has to be cheap but that doesn’t mean it has to be rubbish to drive or made out of old wheelie bins. Small, light, agile and fun was the thing we looked for.

Jeep has launched three new special editions of their cars which are set to debut, as pretty much all of the stuff today, at the North American Motor Show in Detroit.
Volkswagen Compact Coupe Concept – pictures and details leaked
Official pictures of the VW Compact Coupe Concept have been leaked on the internet ahead of its official launch today at the Detroit Motor Show. Leaked details say that this is a hybrid based on the VW Jetta.
GMC Granite Concept – inspired by industry
GMC will launch its Granite concept later today at the North American Motor Show. The industrial-inspired crossover is reffered to as an ‘urban utility vehicle’.
Next generation Ford Focus debuts in Detroit!
Ford has shown us the new, third-generation Ford Focus, ahead of its planned unveiling a bit later today at the Detroit Auto Show. It has been presented in two body configurations: as a hatchback and as a saloon.
